1. Denim aficionados are aware
that raw denim often takes up to six months to break in and shouldn’t be washed

washing the jeans / denim takes away most of its shape.

on local retailers are treated, often pre-washed to produce a faded look. These

3. Dealing with odors can be
handled in a somewhat unconventional way. To effectively remove the smell that
comes with wearing just hang the jeans / denim in the bathroom before taking a
shower. The principle is that the damp steam will keep the denim fresh between
washes. Freezing jeans / denims in plastic bags for two days also works well.
4. Washing jeans / denims inside
out effectively prevents fading. Also note that using hot water to wash jeans
promotes fading. Always use cold water and wash on delicate cycle to prolong

5. Adding ½ cup of distilled
white vinegar on to the final rinse cycle of your jeans helps to maintain the

possible heat setting, remove the jeans / denim before they completely dry; lay
them flat or hang upside-down to dry.

right.

11. There are times when you are

your size by wrapping the waistline of the pair of jeans / denim around the
diameter of your neck. Keep in mind that if the waistline of the jeans
comfortably meets at the back of your neck the pair of jeans will definitely
fit.
12. Are your jeans / denim a bit
too tight? The trick is to air dry them and tug the damp waistband by hand. If
you need to stretch the jeans more, use a hairdryer on it or using a super-hot
iron go over the waistband.
