DIY: Sid Beanie

Basic Skills Necessary:
- Knit
- Purl
- Ribbing
- Circular Knitting
- Basic Decreases




Pattern Description:

- A simple to knit beanie, easy enough for a beginner.
- Beanie is knit in the round and features gradual crown decreases reminiscent of a clown's hat.




Gauge:

- 22 stitches and 30 rounds = 4 inches in stocking stitch
- Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 9 sizes: To fit head circumferences of: 12"/30.5cm (preemie), 14"/36cm (newborn), 15"/38cm (0-3mths), 16"/40.5cm (3-6mths), 17"/43cm (6-12mths), 18"/45.5cm (12-18mths), 19"/48cm (18-24mths), 20"/51cm (2-5yrs), 21"/53.5cm (5yrs-small adult)




Materials:

- US6/4mm 16"/40cm circular needle and double pointed needles (dpns)
- 110-220 yards/100-205 metres of DK weight yarn
- US3/3.25mm 16"/40cm circular needle

- 4 stitch markers
- darning needle
