Naturally, I couldn’t wait to try them out myself, so I printed out a few of these digital files and made some new desk organizers for my studio.

There will be more tutorials and freebies coming up soon. In the meantime here’s an easy tutorial that will bring some color to your desk:

How to make desk organizers using cans and colorful scrapbooking paper

These are great for your home, office or studio and as a unique handmade gift as well. You’ll need tin cans, printable scrapbook paper, measuring tape, scissors, and glue or double sided tape.

Instructions:

 

- Print the digital scrapbooking paper with the design of your choice.

- Measure the tin’s height and cut the scrapbook paper to a wide strip accordingly.

- Use glue or double-sided tape to secure one edge of the paper strip to the can and start wrapping.

- Leave an overlap of about 0.5” (1.5 cm) and secure the overlapping edge with glue or double sided tape.

That’s all there is to it! Now go collect your free gift and use it to make some beautiful desk containers of your own!
